Where are meetings held?
Meetings are held at our two London offices:
• King’s Cross: 193-195 King’s Cross Road, London WC1X 9DB
• Wembley: 22 Watford Road, Wembley HA0 3EP
We can also arrange virtual meetings via Zoom or Teams if preferred.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes. We offer a complimentary initial meeting at one of our London offices so we can understand your needs and explore how we can help.
What should I bring to the initial meeting?
We may require some basic information through a quick form, a team member will be in touch to communicate this.
How long does the initial meeting last?
Around 30 Minutes
How do I book an appointment?
Call us on 020 3621 0003, email hello@matplus.co.uk, expressing your enquiry and we can quickly get that booked for you.
Will I be pressured to sign up?
Absolutely not. The initial meeting is completely free and without obligation. We only work together if it feels right for you.
Are you an independent firm of chartered accountants?
Yes. We are a fully independent firm of chartered accountants and are not tied to any bank, software provider or insurance company.
Are you regulated?
Yes. We are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Our directors are ACA-qualified and we comply with all ICAEW rules and the Code of Ethics.
Do you handle specialist areas such as inheritance tax planning or HMRC investigations?
Yes. We provide expert advice on Inheritance Tax planning, trusts, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Duty, voluntary disclosures to HMRC, tax investigations, and fee protection insurance.
What happens if my accountant is on holiday?
You will be looked after by another member of our team.
How much does it cost to have my accounts prepared or tax return done?
This depends on a couple variables, however, we will always provide a clear estimate or fixed-fee quote before any work begins.
